Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Jonathan Cude ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit https://jonathancudecreative.com/ (the "Site") or contact us through the Site.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
If you use the contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide:
Your name.
Your email address.
The contents of your message.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the contact form.
Site Usage Information
The Site is built and hosted using Framer. We use Framer's built-in, privacy-focused analytics to understand general Site usage, including page views, daily unique visitors, pages visited, approximate session activity, referring websites, campaign parameters, approximate country, device type, browser, and operating system.
Framer Analytics does not use cookies or persistent identifiers. Framer states that it calculates daily unique visitors using a temporary hash derived from an IP address and user-agent information together with a secret value that changes daily. The analytics information available to us is aggregated and is not intended to identify individual visitors.
The Site does not use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.
Vimeo Videos
The Site includes videos embedded from Vimeo. When a Vimeo player loads, Vimeo may use cookies or similar technologies for security, bot prevention, player preferences, video analytics, and reliable player operation. A visitor's browser may also send Vimeo cookies that were stored during an earlier visit to Vimeo or another website.
When a Vimeo player loads, Vimeo may receive information such as your IP address, browser and device information, the page containing the video, and information about your interaction with the player. Vimeo controls its own processing under its policies:
Vimeo videos load as part of the Site's functionality and are not conditioned on a cookie-banner choice. The Site does not currently apply Vimeo's dnt=1 player setting.
How We Use Information
We use information collected through the Site to:
Respond to questions, inquiries, and requests submitted through the contact form.
Communicate with you about the subject of your message.
Operate, maintain, protect, and troubleshoot the Site.
Understand aggregated Site traffic and improve Site content and performance.
Detect or prevent spam, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity.
Comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights.
We do not use contact-form submissions for marketing unless you separately request or agree to receive those communications.
Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on:
Legitimate interests: To operate and secure the Site, understand aggregated Site usage, respond to inquiries, and conduct ordinary business communications.
Steps at your request: To respond when an inquiry relates to a potential engagement, service, or other arrangement.
Legal obligations: To comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests.
Contact Form Submissions
Contact-form submissions are processed through Framer and delivered to the Site owner's email account. Framer and the Site owner's email service provider may process the submitted name, email address, message, and related technical or security information as necessary to transmit, protect, and deliver the submission.
Submitting the form does not create an account, subscribe you to a mailing list, or authorize unrelated marketing messages.
How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information:
To Framer, the Site owner's email service provider, Vimeo, and providers that support hosting, form delivery, video playback, security, or Site operations.
When reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, a court order, or a valid request from a public authority.
To investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, security threats, or violations of law, or to protect rights, property, and safety.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of related business assets.
At your direction or with your consent.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use contact-form information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Framer Analytics does not use cookies or persistent identifiers. The Site's privacy notice may use local storage or a similar technology to remember that the notice has been dismissed.
Vimeo players load as part of the Site and may use cookies or similar technologies for security, player preferences, and video analytics. The Site does not currently apply Vimeo's dnt=1 player setting or delay Vimeo embeds pending a cookie-banner choice. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, but blocking Vimeo may prevent embedded videos from playing.
Data Retention
We retain contact-form submissions and related correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with legal obligations. Retention may vary with the nature of the communication.
Framer and Vimeo retain information according to their own policies and contractual obligations. Aggregated analytics information may remain available for the period included with the applicable Framer plan.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect personal information. We also rely on the safeguards provided by Framer, Vimeo, and the email service provider used to receive inquiries. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
International Processing
Framer, Vimeo, the Site owner's email provider, or their service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, service providers may rely on contractual or other lawful safeguards for international transfers.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability; withdraw consent; appeal certain privacy decisions; or complain to an applicable data-protection authority.
To exercise an applicable right, email jonathan.c.cude@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
External Links
The Site may link to websites and services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information to a third party.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Site, our practices, service providers, or applicable law. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
